No wonder Ireland's so green.

Wonderful to hear those regional, old folk beliefs. The only ones that I know of from Ontario, Canada (where I grew up) are when the cows lie down in the field and when the flies start buzzing around the window panes it means rain. Not nearly as much fun as all of yours! There is the old "red sky at night, sailor's delight" but I suspect we can't claim that one.

As for your slacking, slack away! I'm with the others who say that this should be fun - not a chore. (Seeing my slacking vs. posting scores you can see I"m serious about that.)

It is always a delight when I come by here and see that you've written a new post - always worth any wait!Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01674923395134039554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2549533465934287809.post-66560865995759466922011-05-25T09:57:09.656+01:002011-05-25T09:57:09.656+01:00brilliant! love little pieces like that, can't...brilliant! love little pieces like that, can't wait for your fairy stories....hope you survived after the bad weather, wasn't too bad here, just nice and wild without being dangerous...eimear brennanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08472461911123748927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2549533465934287809.post-27843210503160773652011-05-24T15:24:09.333+01:002011-05-24T15:24:09.333+01:00Kathy's right...stop apologizing!! And stop apologizing. You know, tsk..tsk.. doing a blog is SUPPOSED to be fun. So, me thinks you should just do it if and when you feel like it! Mind you, they're based in London, so when they say 'most of England,' they mean a fifty mile radius of London. I gather you're about to get puked on by an Icelandic volcano again, too. And so might we.JJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16069822009799120415noreply@blogger.com
