I Want To Go Live In A Tree

Maybe it’s just another unfulfilled childhood ambition but I really want a treehouse. And I don’t just mean a glorified garden shed on stilts. No, that wouldn’t do- just think of the spiders! What I want is a proper house in a proper big tree that I can actually live in. Like these fairytale structures from English company Blue Forest.

Words Create Worlds

Ok, so I realise that I’ve been sharing a lot of things I’ve found on other people’s blogs recently and I’m afraid I’m about to do it yet again. As Laura Grace said a few post backs, though, wonder can never be spread around too much! And these gems I found via Reader’s Corner certainly are wonderful. Plus, I feel a special attachment to these since I googled them.

You see they’re from a promotional campaign called ‘Words Create Worlds’ by Anagram Bookshop in Prague. One of most favourite things in the whole world is spending an afternoon browsing a bloody good bookshop, and when I seen the images of the shop on their website I realised I had done just that in Anagram a few years back. I had forgotten all about it but now I even remember my friend bought me the most lovely wee copy of ‘The Little Prince’ there (thanks Anicka!). So I just want to thank KY for not only bringing these fantastic creations to my attention, but also for helping me recall a happy memory. Anyhow, without any further ado, here are said wonders.

p.s Please note, construction is ongoing in the whole makeover project. Just don’t expect any more changes this evening as, in true Donegal workman style, I’ve taken the day off to drink tea.

Please Ignore the Mess

Image via We Heart It

Hello all. Sorry about the absence over the past few days. I was away having a long overdue catch up with some friends down in old Dubland. Great music, cheap mojitos, sunshine, wedding dress shopping and my first ever game of Risk- what a great weekend…

Anyway, this is just a wee note to let you know that things will be undergoing a bit of a change ’round here over the next day or two. I know I said this ages ago and never actually got round to doing it, but I’m giving the place a little bit of a makeover. So if anyone’s just popped in and things are a little off looking or not working quite right please bear with me!

Oh, and if you’re wondering what relevance the image above has with anything I just said I’m afraid I can’t enlighten you. I simply liked it better than the little ‘under construction’ graphic of workmen digging a hole that I was going to put up. It may be a little less appropriate but at least it’s prettier.
