Just a quick post today for this is certainly more sandcastle and beer than blogging and blathering weather. I’m not the biggest sun lover but I still don’t think I should be wasting our all too brief summer hiding behind my pc screen. Anyway, the only reason I’m posting at all is because I just realised that my last one was my 100th! A landmark indeed. I know some people mark the occasion by listing a hundred things about themselves or some sort of carry on like that but, as I said, there’s beer to be drank. So instead I’m just going to introduce you to a special little guy in my life. No, not my fiance- if he ever found out I posted a picture of him he’d be mortified. This wee fella is Charlie. I’ve actually got much nicer pics of him I could’ve used but I thought this one was the most appropriate (as I type he’s up running along that very beach).

Now I'm jealous. Summer is taking FOREVER to get here in my neck 'o the woods and I really want to be on a sunny beach with a beer and Charlie..

I'm so glad you all liked Charlie! He's actually my mum's dog but I'm petless since my George went missing so he's my current furry best friend. Oh, and thanks for all the congrats on 100!
